Lacs de Fenêtre (CH), 26 July 2008

A sunny Saturday. Me, Aśka, Luis and Zwonimir (poor Ewa stays in Kraków), we go to Val Ferret - a valley in the Mont Blanc massif. We initially decide to reach the pass Fenêtre de Ferret from where one can see the famous pass Col Gd. St. Bernard. However, we have to change our plans...

La Tsavre or Mont Ferret (2978 m)

Lacs de Fenêtre (2456 m)

Arriving to Lacs de Fenêtre, we have to change our destination. Luis, with his appearance resembling Jesus' face, attracts a large group of pilgrims. We have to deceive them and face to Col du Bastillon.

A hike is not easy, especially if you partied until 3 a.m.

Col du Bastillon (2757 m)

I get le Col du Bastillon and I am waiting for Luis. Yes, he is approaching the pass. Look at that what he is doing when he remarks the view from the pass on the Grand Combin.
